Pink Chalk Note Taker in Amy Butler Daisy Chain

Have to say this Note Taker has put a spring in my step! Half way through a school year, can be a tough time for any one who works in a school system. You begin the count days, hours and minutes until Spring Break or summer. I needed a boost!
So on a snow day [In the South that means any day that has snow or ice in it.] I made this Note Taker designed by Pink Chalk Studios to match my Sew Spoiled Laptop sleeve and Heather Bailey designed Marlo Bloom bag. The pattern comes in two sizes small and large. This is the large size. It fits my 8.5"X11"note book, a small calendar, and my teacher planning booklet. I actually look forward to opening it up and planning for the next event.
In this project it will help you if you read the instructions a few times before you beginning. Once I found out in the project where the flip part takes place. [Where you turn the Note Taker right side out.] I was able to make it very quickly. So if you need a pick me up, make yourself this wonderful Note Taker!

Sew Spoil Yourself!!!

I recently made a few Ladybugs Mini Purses to sell in my shop. Put your cell phone, iPhone, RAZR, small camera, keys, cards or MP3 player in your Ladybug. The Ladybug has a zipper closure on the side and a short swivel hook strap to attach onto a belt, belt loop, backpack, briefcase or bag. Made from Patty Young's, Andalucia collection of fabric and Amy Butler's Daisy Chain.
The Ladybug size is 6” wide X 5” tall, the zipper opening is 3” wide and the strap is 4” long. The side zipper makes it easier to open the Ladybug, you do not have to worry about getting your gadget around the strap. Not only do you receive the wonderful Ladybug Mini Purse but with your purchase you can pick one e-book from the 7 Sew Spoiled e-books!

I have been looking for secure laptop sleeve for sometime. I wanted it to fit snug, look sleek and zip so my two little ones could not get into it. This is the perfect answer to all my prayers! I hope you give to a try. If you are not use to using zippers yet, this is a great tutorial to start with!!!
Happy New Year!!
