I adore this blouse. It super easy to make and looks like you spent a lot of time putting it together. Over the course of this week I will show you how to make your own. Then on Thursday, I will post the complete PDF tutorial. Make sure you have a working sewing machine, pins, water soluble pen and ruler before you start. We are going to stop here today but stop back by tomorrow to see what is next!

Spring Break 2012

Well, this Spring Break we decided to stay close to home and find fun actives round our area. Monday, we visited the park. The girls loved riding on the carousel and swinging on the swings. Tuesday, we ate at The Pit . It is #98 on the Top restaurants in US. 101 Best Restaurants in America for 2012 | The Daily Meal Wednesday, was rainy so we stayed home and did things around the house. After the rain passed a double rainbow appeared. Today is Thursday and we have company coming over. I think we might even decorate eggs! I thought Spring Break at home would be boring, but it has been really fun finding new things to do close by in our community. What is in your community that is fun to do? Hunger Games T-shirt; Silhouette Tutorial

I have read the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins and I enjoyed reading them so much. My husband read them too and we took a date night to see the new movie. I did find it hard to read because of what happens to the children in the book.  As in all good stories it is about good verses evil and the symbol of hope is the Mockingjay. In the first book the main character, Katniss Everdeen wears the mockingjay as a pin for good luck.          Materials: Vinyl Cutter, Silhouette Cutter software, Silhouette Studio Image Iron T-shirt ( Wash the T-shirt before starting your project.) Step 1: Here is a tutorial on how to trace an image with the Silhouette software.  Once you have traced the image, flip it horizontally.
