Jennifer from Texas tells us, " Now that I'm done, I really like the bag.  I chose the medium and it would be a good church or out and about bag.  In the photo of the finished bag there's a novel and water bottle inside.  There's plenty of room for me to add my Bible, notebook, and a couple granola bars to get my daughter through both church services.  I could even add a water bottle for her too, but contrary to her belief, I'm not her pack mule. =)   " " When I slipped the shell into the lining to sew them together, there was just under a 1" difference in  size with the shell being bigger.  I only double checked two of the seams, but with there being so many seams perhaps I was a little off here and there.  They all looked right, but .5" front and back is a big discrepancy.  I slightly tapered in each side seam at the top to accommodate the smaller lining." This is why we have testers to find issues with the pattern and fix it. S

Here are pictures from Tina's Tailgate Teammate Tote ! She did an amazing job! She used a fun patch to go on the front of her stylish tote.  Great stitching shot! Look at how she pins, you should always pin this way so the presser foot can glide over the pins. This picture shows how Tina attached the straps to the outer shell. Love the purple and chevron! Juls from Washington State writes, " I made the small tote without duck canvas, partly to make use of my stash on hand, and partly because I like a bag with a little less structure. I love that it's just big enough to hold my planner and a few other mom-essentials. The method of attaching  the straps is genius! This took way less time to put together than I was expecting.  Looking forward to making a large one out of mesh for the beach!"   I love the US Navy patch!  Here is a great picture of how much you can fit into the small tote. She writes to us from NC.   "Hi Leah….attached are front/back/inside photos of the SMALL tote I made today.  I used materials I had on hand…some upholstery fabrics and some webbing belts from the dollar store.  Easy to follow directions…loads of help (first time installing a zipper---no problem! Woo-hoo!) The small size is perfect as a purse.  I’m thinking the large would be perfect for ‘tailgating’ or diaper bagging…or even larger knitting/crochet projects.  Nan"    She is so smart!
