Afternoon Tea Jacket pattern by PinkRoses1220

I love going to Etsy and finding things that you can not buy anywhere else. That was just the case when I stumbled upon PinkRoses1220's shop. I first noticed the adorable clothes for children and then realized the pattern for the Afternoon Tea Jacket was available in both adult and kid sizes!!! I got so excited that I bought it quickly. I will tell you that the pattern is the templates alone. The instructions are not available with the pattern. If you need any help I don't mind sharing the order of how to sew the pattern together. I also spoke to Lisa the Etsy store owner, whom is extremely nice, and she said that she was only selling a few patterns to the public. Her shop is having a huge sale so go check it out!! The jacket is not lined, so for this project a serger is a great machine to use. The fabric find was located at Material Girl Shoppe.

I just bought the pattern thanks to seeing your blog! I'm glad I checked, I've always admired this jacket. If I get stuck once it arrives I'll let you know ... I may need some pointers!
I love this jacket and feel soo tempted to purchase the pattern... Butt, I am scared of not having directions! I may go ahead since you offered to help if anyone gets stuck! I just wish the women's size was still for sale... I'd love to be able to have a mom/daughter set :(

I have loved this jacket for months and couldn't pass up the chance to make one for my daughter. I purchased the pattern today but am VERY nervous about making this with no instructions. Any help you could offer would be so much appreciated!

Sweet Coin Purse Tutorial for Teacher Gifts

This time of year is so special to me because I get to show my gratitude for all of the hard work that goes into teaching my daughters. I love to make handmade gifts and this year is no exception. Since money does not grow on trees around here, I looked at my stash (I keep my scraps in hat boxes ) and tried to see what I had a lot of; small zippers, trims, Peltex strips ( from making iPad cases ), fabric scraps and some hardware for key fobs. So I set to work.  Materials: Plastic multipurpose 5" Zipper  Fabric Scraps Lightweight interfacing 808 Pellon Trims (We clipped  key fobs  with 1.5" swivel hooks onto our coin purses . There are tons of tutorials on making key fobs .) Step 1: Print out the Coin Purse Template  PDF.  Cut 2 main fabric, cut 2 lining and 2 interfacing using the template.  Optional: Cut a 2"X2" square of your choice main fabric or lining. This strip of fabric is used to clip a key fob to your coin purse later. We used a 1.5
