I am suppose to be packing but I couldn't wait to show you these adorable road trip bags! Materials: Main Fabric- half yard Lining Fabric- half yard 1" wide Ribbon- 2 strips of 46-50" (depending on your little doodler) Ink jet printable fabric for doodling Thread ✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄ ✄✄✄✄ ✄✄ Step 1: Cut out… Main Fabric 15"X 27" Lining 15"X 27" 2 strips of 46"ribbon (for small kids) ✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄ ✄✄✄✄ ✄✄ Step 2: Serge the two fabric pieces across the top.  (I am making two Travel Doodle Bags at the same time.) ✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄ ✄✄✄✄ ✄✄ Step 3: Make a button hole 2" from the top. I am going to the mountains with my family this week. We are planning to stay a few days and enjoy our time together. There will be no internet! I love Amy Butler's new line of fabric called Cameo !! I loved it so much I had to buy some but I have to order it online and that means buying it at top dollar. This allowed me to adjust the belt better across my frame. I serged the raw edges, then ironed and double stitched around the entire dress.  Here are the (2) belt ties and the (4) pockets.  I used the pocket template from the Colette Iris Shorts  pattern. I love to crochet but I am one of "those people" who won't try something new until I have a project that I want to make so badly that it forces me to learn a new technique.
