Sew Spoiled Fun!

I have made a few updates to this pattern. If you bought the Sew Spoiled Cabrio Tote through my Etsy shop you should have received the updated version through email. If you have not received it please feel free to email me at leah.sewspoiled@gmail.com and remember to state the transaction #. I will gladly send the update to you. YCMT and Above All Fabric has the updated version as well!
After making a beautiful Cabrio Tote in Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane I found a few things that needed to be updated within the pattern. I love that epatterns are every easy to update and modify.
We could work on the Weekender tote together and send pictures of our work at different stages! At the end we could share how we are using our Sew Spoiled Weekender Tote! (gift, business bag, diaper bag, traveler bag) Also some of you might even find ways to modify the Weekender and I would love to hear how you did it!
So if you are interested in a Weekender Sew Along make a post! Let me know!
Even if you have already made one you are more than welcome to join in the fun!
The more the Better!
Happy Sewing!

I'm in for a sew along! I absolutely love this bag but haven't found the right fabric for it yet. This would put my butt in gear to make one!

Sweet Coin Purse Tutorial for Teacher Gifts

This time of year is so special to me because I get to show my gratitude for all of the hard work that goes into teaching my daughters. I love to make handmade gifts and this year is no exception. Since money does not grow on trees around here, I looked at my stash (I keep my scraps in hat boxes ) and tried to see what I had a lot of; small zippers, trims, Peltex strips ( from making iPad cases ), fabric scraps and some hardware for key fobs. So I set to work.  Materials: Plastic multipurpose 5" Zipper  Fabric Scraps Lightweight interfacing 808 Pellon Trims (We clipped  key fobs  with 1.5" swivel hooks onto our coin purses . There are tons of tutorials on making key fobs .) Step 1: Print out the Coin Purse Template  PDF.  Cut 2 main fabric, cut 2 lining and 2 interfacing using the template.  Optional: Cut a 2"X2" square of your choice main fabric or lining. This strip of fabric is used to clip a key fob to your coin purse later. We used a 1.5
