I just bought this book this weekend and I can not wait!!!! I like the kid patterns (and at first that is why I got it) but in the book store I thumbed through it and the dresses and skirts are what sold me! There are over 40 projects! All with pattern templates however they are on top of each other, which brings me to my blog post...
I wanted to trace the patterns but on what??? I am a teacher and any teacher will recognize the Chart Tablet in photo:) This 24"X32" paper is perfect for all your pattern tracing needs!!! I think I am also going to use this for other children patterns that I have so I can save all of the pattern sizes. As my girls get bigger, I'll just trace the next size. So I hope you get a chance to check out this awesome book, Weekend Sewing, by Heather Ross. Go ahead and pick up your favorite fabric and a tablet too, if you are out shopping:)
Happy Sewing!!!

Thanks for your kind words about Weekend Sewing! I am so glad that you like it.
I want to let you know that there are a few errors in the book (arg!) and that you should consult the errata on my blog, weekend, before you get started.
Thanks!

I cut out the Summer Blouse last night before going to bed and now I am excited about the new possibilities it has.
I wish you all the best with this wonderful book and your beautiful fabric!
