Free Sew Spoiled Recipe Cards!

These sweet Ladybug recipe cards are free! Simply click on the picture to download and open it in Adobe Reader. Then type your favorite recipe on the lines and print or you can print out the blank card and hand fill. This PDF is for personal use only. Please do not copy and paste images to your blog without asking first. 
I am so excited about the Ladybug Apron Pattern launching July 4th!!! This pattern is easy to make and written so you can choose what works best for you. You can follow the bias binding tutorial in the pattern if you want a trim around the edge. (Like the picture above.) If you enjoy using your serger, follow the the serge instructions to make your apron super fast! If a standard sewing machine is your tool a third set of directions is available for making the Ladybug Convertible Apron. The Patchwork Apron bib is written for 3 sizes Large, Medium and Small for a comfortable fit.

love all these ideas and the recipes sound great, too. thanks for sharing. Recipe Cards make a great gift for the person who loves to cook. Also, this is a good way to bring back a time-honoured tradition of passing on recipes to your friends and family.

Sweet Coin Purse Tutorial for Teacher Gifts

This time of year is so special to me because I get to show my gratitude for all of the hard work that goes into teaching my daughters. I love to make handmade gifts and this year is no exception. Since money does not grow on trees around here, I looked at my stash (I keep my scraps in hat boxes ) and tried to see what I had a lot of; small zippers, trims, Peltex strips ( from making iPad cases ), fabric scraps and some hardware for key fobs. So I set to work.  Materials: Plastic multipurpose 5" Zipper  Fabric Scraps Lightweight interfacing 808 Pellon Trims (We clipped  key fobs  with 1.5" swivel hooks onto our coin purses . There are tons of tutorials on making key fobs .) Step 1: Print out the Coin Purse Template  PDF.  Cut 2 main fabric, cut 2 lining and 2 interfacing using the template.  Optional: Cut a 2"X2" square of your choice main fabric or lining. This strip of fabric is used to clip a key fob to your coin purse later....
