Sew Spoiled ePattern May Giveaway!!

Last month's giveaway was such a big hit that I decided to continue the fun this month, May's Giveaway is one free Sew Spoiled epattern for five different, lucky winners! It will run through midnight on May 31, 2010 with the winners being announced on June 1, 2010. The winners will be chosen using Random.org. We will send it through email June 2, 2010! All friends are welcome! What do you have to do to enter to win?? Just post a comment telling us what type of crafter are you??? In Amy Karol's, Bend-The -Rules Sewing, page 6, she asks "What kind of crafter are you?" Which I think is a great question? Are you the Perfectionist, The Miser (Thrifty), Artist or Speed Demon?? I feel like I am a crazy combination of all of them but if I had to pick one it would be the artist with strong speed demon undertones. :)
~Happy Posting!

Is there an option for novice???? I would also say I am a miser. I am trying to find pretty fabric on the cheap.

I am a perfectionist with a bit of speed demon thrown in to keep it interesting :)

I am a perfectionist, always! If I don't like something 100% it will be redone!
Thank you for hosting this nice giveaway!

I see a little of all of those in me. Perfectionist that wants it to be done like a miser and do it as fast as possible!

There are always so many things on my mind I would like to do ... never will find the time for all of it :)

I would like to think I am an equal combo of all of those characterisitics....but in all honesty it's more like perfectionist =)

Thanks for the chance!

I am a perfectionistic procrastinator (i.e. - I'm perfect at procrastinating) Usually my crafting is done with a deadline, and I'm really good at finding ideas to do later.

Oh tough choices..I'd have to say I'm a Perfectionist Miser with a speed demon LOL Great question

I am DEFINATELY the Perfectionist. I can't help myself!

Joy said...

I'm definitely a Perfectionist crafter but it tends to just make me a frustrated crafter, so I'm trying to be an It's Good Enough crafter when I can!

It depends on what I am making and for whom. I am very much a perfectionist. I become speed demon if I have to make more than one and I am an artist if it involves painting in the project. Not sure if that exactly answers it. ;)

Fun contest!

I'd have to say Speed Demon, with a dash of miser. When I start a project, I just want to see what it's like finished. And then, for some strange reason, none of my seams are ever straight/perfect.

Probably a speed demon with some miser in me. I've paid too much for fabric that I "just had to have." But usually I wait for sales.

I wish I was a speed demon but I am a perfectionist. I read over patterns several times before I start and then keep checking the directions as I go. I do the same thing with cooking. I wish I could just speed through and trust my instincts more.

Ginger said...

Hum, that's a hard question. I think I'm a combination of all of them, depending on the project. If I had to pick one I would go with artist.

AKing said...

Speed demon. I don't have much time to craft so it's a rush to get everything I want to do done.

Heather said...

I am a speed demon perfectionist! Of course that always leads to chaos...things done too quickly usually never turn out like in my vision!

The Tiny Homestead said...

Embarrassingly, I'm a miser and also a bit of a speed demon.

Jennifer said...

I wish I was a speed demon, I really do. I feel like a turtle when I sew. I think I must admit to being a perfectionist especial if the item is for someone else.

Country Mouse said...

Hmm,I'd have to say that I am a speed demon, most of time! I also love instant gratification...so quick, easy crafts are some of my faves! Thanks for the chance to win!!!

Lynne in NC said...

Wow, I've not thought about this. I guess I would be the perfectionist (but could it be precise, instead?)
Thanks for the give-away.
Peace.

I am the miser! You should see my craft room....all bits and pieces just waiting for the right project to call their name!! I want to save and use up every little piece.

Caribbean Cindy said...

Definitely a perfectionist - it has to be done well!!

Kristi said...

I am a miser speed demon lol! As "the Nester" says "it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful!" :)

aicha said...

I'm a perfectionist who never get anything done perfectly...
Thanks for hosting this!

I am an artist crafter.

The Davies Family said...

I am a perfectionist who sorely lacks sewing time so everything takes a LLLOOOONNNGGG time. I am thinking that the seven children under the age of 14 have something to do with this though! Am enjoying your sew along.

As I was reading the question I was thinking, 'yep, yep, yep, yep'. I think I'm a mix too, but I have to say artist most (with speed demon in there thanks to having a 3 year old and a 1 year old underfoot!)

ronni6006 said...

I'm a whiny (sp??) crafter if you ask my husband...I guess I agree :)

Sue from MI said...

I am a miser, speed demon, artist, perfectionist. In that order. It's a burden but I get by with it and still enjoy it...

Stephanie said...

I am a miserly perfectionist. Probably in that order. :)

karen said...

I sew what needs to be sewn at that time. Does that make me a Needy Seamstress?

Heather said...

I stopped being a perfectionist - just not enought years to be that way. I'm opting for a speed demon (git 'er done) and artist combo (giving myself permission to make mistakes on the way.)

brooke said...

I'm something in between and speed demon and a miser with a major does of perfectionist thrown in :-)

MaddyMazeStudio said...

I too am a combination of all of them...I mean, who doesn't want to be thrifty? I try, I really try, but they keep coming out with new lines of fabric!

Elena said...

I'm a combination miser-perfectionist. So, constantly maximizing fabric cuts to make perfect little projects. :)

The Journey said...

I am a crafter who tries a bit of everything- hmm I am not sure what you would call that.

Andrea said...

Just starting to try new projects and having fun!

i think i missed this but will leave a comment anyways. i try to be a perfectionist but always falls short, not enough patience. love your bags!

DangAndBlast! said...

Dilettante and perfectionist! So I start a billion things, in a zillion different craft forms, and only finish when there's a deadline, because it's easy to start, but if I want the finishing to be perfect, I have to have time to finish things... which I never do, because I'm always starting something new!

(heh - wv: mingbatt. Guess that's what Chinese spinners use!)

Carol said...

I think I'm a perfectionist with a hint of miser :-)

Carol said...

Seems like I'm a 3/4 perfectionist and 1/4 miser :-)
