Pickled Apron Tutorial The inspiration for Pickled Apron came from a Pinterest photo . The Photo was of an apron sewing kit in a mason jar. I thought it was such a great way to give an apron as a gift! I wanted to share how to make a new apron and give it to a  friend or love one you might like to Spoil! Sewing Skills needed Straight Stitching Materials: Fabric A (Main Print) One fat quarter  measuring 18” X 22” Fabric B (white fabric) 1 yard  Fabric C (Pocket and Ruffle) half yard  measuring 18” X 44” Ribbon or trims 1 yard Working sewing machine and sewing notions  ✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄✄ ✄✄✄✄ ✄✄ Step 1: Cutting Layout-  Fabric A- set aside it is already the correct,  measurement of 18”H X 22”W  (front panel) Fabric B- Cut 2- 6”X 44” (ties),      Cut 1- 6” X 22” (waistband)      Cut 1- 6” X 36”  (ruffle),        Cut 1- 2...

Polka Dot Handles They have them in red, blue and green, only $13. Polka Dot Zippers Super cute you could sew them directly facing out, so everyone could see the fun polka dots. Polka Dot Converse I loved my converse in High School! These are adorable, I love how the tongue of the shoe is a different color polka dot! My favorite are the dark grey, with pink. Back to sewing!

Here is the Princess (youngest) and the Penguin (oldest) wearing their matching firework ensembles. I started with 1.5 yards of fireworks fabric that was given to me. I finished the dress first, realizing I didn't have enough for the second dress. Aaaaaahhhh! As a mother of two, I never make for one and not the other. On July 3rd, I was panicking, what should I do?? No time to buy more fabric. So I took what I had and looked for anything that matched. I found this cute dress, size 2T.  Princess and the Penguin could not wear it any more, so I cut the skirt off and set to work.  I think all in all everything turned out ok. I hated cutting up this adorable dress but at least I have pictures and I was able to give both girls a fun outfit to wear on the 4th! Whew!  I hope everyone has a terrific 4th of July! We enjoyed being with family and watching beautiful fireworks!

I made a sewing tutorial on the Quilt As You Go technique that I used to make the Patchwork Shoulder Bag. I hope you enjoy it. I thought it would be shorter. Sorry, about the length.
